The 9700 series heat protector is composed of high sensitive bimetallic disc moving contact static contact fixed base shell and temperature resistant wire. When working the bimetallic plate is in free state the moving contact is closed with the static contact and the circuit is on. When the temperature of the electric appliance rises to the operating temperature of the thermal protector due to the fault heating the bimetallic plate will be heated and produce internal stress and move quickly push the moving contact away from the static contact and disconnect the circuit thus cutting off the power supply of the fault electric appliance and playing the role of protecting the electric appliance.
